2013 House Bill 1838: Concerning surname changes after the solemnization of a marriage

Provides options for changing a last name after a marriage, and specifies that such changes may be completed through the State Registrar of Vital Statistics by presenting a marriage certificate and photo identification. This act takes effect August 1, 2013.   Official Text and Analysis.
