2013 House Bill 1556: Creating initiatives in high schools to save lives in the event of cardiac arrest

Requires the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, in consultation with others, to develop guidelines for a medical emergency response and automated external defibrillator program for high schools. Requires each school district with a high school to offer instruction in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Requires that CPR instruction be included in the instruction for one health class necessary for graduation.
