2011 Senate Bill 5246: Providing employer review of abstracts of driving records

To clarify that DOL may provide an employer or its agent with a review of the driving records of existing employees documenting changes to the record. DOL must establish the fee such that, at a minimum, it covers the cost of providing the service in addition to any revenues that would have otherwise been received from fees for abstracts from that employer.

The underlying bill specifies a contractual agreement with an employer in order for DOL to review the records of employees for changes. The underlying bill also requires the fee for this service to be set at a level that does not result in a net revenue loss to the state.
