2009 Senate Bill 5146: accrual of interest on judgments against offenders

To set the rate of accrual of interest based on the confinement of an offender. If the offender is in total confinement that only the restitution portion of the judgment will accrue interest while in total confinement. Fees, court cost and other assessments will delay accrual of interest until release from total confinement. All other judgments where an offender is not in total confinement begin accrual at time of judgment.   Official Text and Analysis.
