2009 House Bill 1296: Limitations on rental housing inspections

To limit inspections of rental housing. This bill would not allow local government to permit or require a landlord to hire a third party to conduct inspections. The bill also clarifies that a local government cannot asses a fee against a landlord for an inspection by a local building official. (See also Companion SB 5495).   Official Text and Analysis.
