2005 Senate Bill 5044: Regarding rural public hospital district officers

To increase the maximum contract amount for an officer of a rural public hospital district. The total amount of such contracts may exceed one thousand five hundred dollars in any calendar month, but shall not exceed twenty-four thousand dollars in any calendar year. This bill also gives the rural public hospital district the legislative authority to increase the calendar-year limitation by an amount equal to the dollar amount for the previous calendar year multiplied by the change in the consumer price index at the end of the twelve-month period ending December 31st of that previous calendar year.   Official Text and Analysis.
