Strengthens provisions against metal theft. This act makes it a felony to engage in certain transactions involving nonferrous metal without a nonferrous metal permits. This act designates county sheriffs as the agents which shall issue nonferrous metal permits, and provides criteria for applicants. This act provides for law enforcement seizure of certain personal property involved with violating regulations and laws governing metal property.
