2013 House Bill 1408: Providing cities and towns with the local options to permit digital outdoor advertising signs

Provides local governments with permitting options for Type 4 and 5 digital outdoor advertising signs. This act prohibits such signs located by highways or in critics from displaying anything other than static messages. This act requires owners of such signs to coordinated with law enforcement to use the signs to display regional emergency information important to the traveling public, such as amber alerts.
