2013 House Bill 1002: Establishing a yellow dot program to provide medical information to emergency responders at the scene of a motor vehicle accident

Requires the department of licensing to implement a yellow dot program. Participation is voluntary and a fee is charged to cover the costs associated with the program. Under the program, participants place a yellow dot on their vehicles’ rear window, which alerts emergency personnel to a yellow folder in the glove compartment. The folder contains the participants’ identity and detailed medical information to assist responders at the scene of an accident involving the vehicle.   Official Text and Analysis.
