2012 House Bill 2199: Changing compulsory school attendance requirements for children six and seven years of age

Lowers the age of full-time, compulsory education from eight to six years of age, but limits truancy actions to children eight years and older. This act also modifies home-schooling reporting requirements to apply only to children eight years and older.   Official Text and Analysis.
