2011 House Bill 2066: Modifying provisions relating to the serving of sentences
Introduced by Rep. Jeannie Darneille (Tacoma) (D) on April 9, 2011
Modifies current law regarding sentencing. This act provides that a period of community custody will not toll for the period of time prior to the hearing or for confinement pursuant to sanctions imposed for violation of sentence conditions. However, sanctions that result in the imposition of the remaining sentence or the original sentence will continue to toll the period of community custody. In addition, inpatient treatment ordered by the court in lieu of jail time will not toll the period of community custody. For sentences imposed on sex offenders, the period of community custody will be tolled for any period of confinement of the offender for any other offense. This act takes effect immediately.   Official Text and Analysis.
