This bill is a huge mistake and I cannot understand why it was voted so quickly, first they had to study it from all the angles then decide if it is worthy. Achieving master degree will be harder for everyone, my son wanted to make a master degree but now he is not sure about this because of this bill, instead of helping students the state wants to support student debt.

WOW this is really great for washington. What better strategy to get our state out of debt than to dump it on the heads of our students. I just called Lytton's office and they told me that students should just take out loans.......So our state SUPPORTS student debt? And what in the world are you thinking passing this bill in MAY? For people that support education, you sure know nothing about it. In MAY a student is required to have already selected a college. We students can't go back and change our decisions now! I would have definitely chosen a cheaper school knowing that they would increase their tuition. And we don't even have any say in this! I just got an email from my university stating they would announce the tuition by JULY 30th!!! I report to school August 15th and I have no idea how much it is going to cost me. Why would you pass something so quickly without even asking the people it affects? Boy, for claiming to be educated you sure are dumb.
