  • Introduced by Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen, (D-Camano Island) on January 5, 2007, to amend property tax provisions of the Washington State Constitution. The amendment would dedicate one cent per $1,000 of property tax revenue to state parks. Passage of SJR 8204 would require two-thirds majority support from both chambers and majority approval by the voters at the next general election. See companion SB 5043.
