2007 Senate Bill 5216: Maintaining Washington's working forest land base.

To provide greater state financial assistance to maintain Washington's working forest land base. The bill would create a Working Forest Land Board to issue grants and loans on a competitive basis. The grants and loans would support protection of working forest land and assist in developing innovative strategies for supporting economically and environmentally healthy forests and forest-dependent communities.   Official Text and Analysis.
