2007 Senate Bill 5079: Including supreme court and court of appeals commissioners to solemnize marriages.

To add to the list of persons that are legally allowed to perform a marriage in Washington State. Currently, Justices of the supreme courts, court of appeals, superior courts, superior court commissioners, any regularly licensed or ordained minister or any priest of any church or religious denomination, and judges of courts of limited jurisdiction may perform marriage ceremonies. The bill will add supreme court and court of appeals commissioners to the list.   Official Text and Analysis.
