2007 Senate Bill 5048: Concerning construction defect actions.

To amend the statute of limitations period for home owner lawsuits against home builders. If a home owner’s lawsuit is dismissed without prejudice, the applicable statute of limitations for the claims would be tolled from the earlier of the commencement of the dismissed action or the service of the original notice of claim. The statue of limitations would remain tolled until sixty days after the period of time during which the filing of a subsequent action is barred.   Official Text and Analysis.
