2007 House Bill 1357: Providing industrial insurance compensation for medical or surgical treatment for intractable pain.

To require the Department of Labor and Industries to authorize coverage for eligible workers of a trial of an implantable medical device to treat chronic intractable pain. If the treating provider finds that the trial is successful, then the treatment shall by covered by the department. This bill would apply prospectively regardless of the date of injury.
