2013 Senate Bill 5079: Providing compensation for damage to livestock caused by wolves

Provides that the Department of Fish and Wildlife may pay no more than fifty thousand dollars per year for claims relating to damage to livestock caused by wolves. This act directs the Department to give a yearly update to the Office of Financial Management and the legislature about wolf-livestock conflicts. This act creates the wolf-livestock conflict account, which is to be used solely for payments for livestock damage cause by wolves. This act expands compensation regulations to include non-commercial livestock.   Official Text and Analysis.
