Introduced by Rep. Roger Goodman (KirkLand) (D) on February 12, 2013

This act includes homes detention in the list of partial confinement options, and provides that if an offender has less than 180 days left of their sentence at the time when the offender would otherwise be transferred to a state correctional facility, the offender shall serve the rest of their sentence in the local correctional facility. This act requires offenders on home detention to be placed on electronic monitoring and to participate in programming and treatment as determined by the Department of Corrections, and makes other changes to partial confinement and home detention.
