2013 House Bill 1653: Concerning assault in the third degree occurring in areas used in connection with court proceedings

Expands the list of circumstances which comprise assault in the third degree to include situations in which an individual assaults a person located in any area of a building that is used in connection with court proceedings. This act also adds such assaults to the list of aggravating circumstances that may be considered by a jury and imposed by the court. (See also SB 5484).   Official Text and Analysis.
