2013 House Bill 1403: Promoting economic development by providing information to businesses

Requires all state agencies, boards and commissions to provide to the Department of Commerce application and information identifying the requirements to complete the application for every business license issued by an agency. Clarifies and expands the information that each agency must provide in order to fully participate to include the name of an agency coordinator for the purposes of implementing the specified requirements; a listing of each business license issued by the agency; a description of the persons and specific activities for which the license is required; the time period for which the license is issued and any issuance, renewal, or reissuance requirements; and links to the licensing information, application, and instructions on the agency's website.

Expands the alternative compliance option to include agencies that issue licenses in accordance with educational standards and an examination. Specifies that to be incorporated into the master licensing system, both the Department of Revenue and the agency with the legal authority to issue the license must agree to have it incorporated.
