2013 House Bill 1011: Removing the one-year waiting period for resident tuition eligibility for members of the military and veterans

Grants resident tuition eligibility to active duty military, their spouses and dependents who entered service as a Washington resident but are not stationed in Washington. Requires that the spouse or dependent of an individual who separated from the military under honorable conditions after at least two years of service and who enters a public institution of higher education in Washington within one year of the date of discharge must meet both the condition of establishing Washington as their intended domicile and as their primary domicile.
