2012 Senate Bill 6591: Setting employee salaries upon reallocation or layoff action

Provides that a state employee’s base salary be adjusted to his/her current position when that employee has been assigned to a lesser paying position as a result of a reallocation or layoff action. This act also prohibits state employers from bargaining that adjustment to an employee’s base salary. (Companion Bill: HB 2584).   Official Text and Analysis.
