Provides that sretirement service credits may be transferred for fish and wildlife enforcement officers no earlier than June 30 , 2012. Previously, the date was June 30, 2014. (Companion Bill: HB 2418).   Official Text and Analysis.

Changes the date by which a DFW enforcement officer must complete the required payments in order to transfer prior service credit from PERS 2 or 3 to LEOFF 2 from June 30, 2014, to June 30, 2012. On June 30, 2012, DRS must transfer from PERS 2 or 3 to LEOFF 2 the service credit of any member who has met the transfer requirements, along with the associated member and employer contributions and interest. A reference to another statute is corrected in the section authorizing the transfer for service credit from PERS 2 or 3 to LEOFF 2.

Removes provisions changing the date by which a member must complete payments to transfer service credit from PERS to LEOFF Plan 2 from June 30, 2014, to June 20, 2012.

Moves the date that the Department of Retirement Systems will credit a Department of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Officers' transferred Public Employees' Retirement System service credit to a member's Law Enforcement Officers' and Fire Fighters' Retirement System Plan 2 account from no earlier than June 30, 2014, to no earlier than June 30, 2012.
