To create the “Judicial Election Reform Act,” which introduces a voluntary pilot project to provide public financing of candidates for the Washington Supreme Court who demonstrate public support and voluntarily accept strict fundraising and spending limits. Sets forth conditions to qualify for public financing, including the requirement for at least 500 qualifying contributions from individuals that total at least 25 times the filing fee for the office sought.
