2011 House Bill 2165: Requiring statewide implementation of revised teacher and principal evaluation systems through professional development and training

Requires the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) to develop a comprehensive online training package for principals and superintendents for the revised evaluation systems required by current law, and include a modified version of that package in teacher orientation. This act requires the Professional Educator Standards Board to in-service training or continuing education on the revised evaluation system as a requirement for recertification. This act also requires that subsequent collective bargaining agreements be consistent with this act. (Companion Bill: SB 6318).   Official Text and Analysis.
