Introduced by Rep. Sam Hunt (Olympia) (D) on February 7, 2011
Modifies current law to allow for early retirement for school administrators. A school administrator may now retire if he or she is at least fifty-five years of age and has completed twenty-nine years plus ten months of service by June 30 in the person’s thirtieth service year. This act provides that the retirement benefit for such persons taking early retirement will still be subject to appropriate reductions. Official Text and Analysis.
