2011 House Bill 1787: Addressing the impact on retirement benefits of school district employees' reduced compensation

Requires the Department of Retirement Systems to include any compensation forgone due to reduction in work hours, voluntary leave without pay, and/or furloughs when calculating retirement benefits for school district employees. The special calculations apply during the 2009-11 biennium. This act takes effect immediately.   Official Text and Analysis.
