2011 House Bill 1423: Exempting certain counties from the forest land compensating tax

To exempt counties with a population density of at least six-hundred twenty five thousand, but not more than six-hundred seventy five thousand people per square mile from the forest land compensating tax in order to encourage economic development. Currently, this exemption is allowed for counties with a population of more than six-hundred thousand people. (Companion: SB 5169).   Official Text and Analysis.
