2011 House Bill 1420: Modifying public employee benefits laws

To clarify and update provisions of the public employee benefits laws, including the addition of a definition for domestic partners who are elegible for survivor benefits. "State registered domestic partners," "registered domestic partners," or "domestic partners" means two adults who meet the requirements for a valid state registered domestic partnership and who have been issued a certificate of state registered domestic partnership by the secretary of state.
