2011 House Bill 1130: Requiring licensed midwives to prepare written plans for each patient

Removes requirements in current law that midwives consult with the mother’s physician. This act adds a requirement that midwives develop a written plan for each patient and keep that plan on file for five years. This act takes effect on January 1, 2012.   Official Text and Analysis.
