2011 House Bill 1085: Creating a hair design license

Distinguishes hair design as a separate occupation in cosmetology that requires a state license. This act requires licensed hair designers to complete 1400 hours of instruction which is 200 fewer hours than a licensed cosmetologist.   Official Text and Analysis.
