2009 Senate Bill 5339: 1017 Creating a board to oversee the public records and open public meetings act

Authorizes appointment of a 13 member state board to adjudicate complaints and alleged violations of the public records and the open public meetings act. The board will be composed of appointees from the governor, the attorney general, the state auditor and other agencies to represent public and government interests. Outlines responsibilities, which will include public hearings, and a report on how to further the goals of the public records and open public meetings act.
