2008 House Bill 2436: Allowing crime victims to submit input to the department of corrections regarding whether an offender should be placed into work release

This act would require the Department of Corrections to notify victims of their rights to participate or comment with regards to an inmate’s placement in a work release program. The Department must consider comments received 7 days prior to a placement decision, but can also consider comments received within the 7day period.   Official Text and Analysis.
