2007 Senate Joint Memorial 8000: Requesting the restoration of funding for the study and observation of the global atmospheric transport of pollution.

To declare to the federal government that Asian dust storms are growing in frequency and are problematic to Washington State. The memorial requests the national government to restore funding to the National Center for Environmental Research's STAR program for the purposes of providing research grant opportunities to study and make observations of atmospheric transport of global pollution sources.   Official Text and Analysis.
