2007 Senate Bill 5615: Imposing penalties against convicted motor vehicle offenders.

To establish a penalty that will hold convicted motor vehicle offenders accountable. The bill is also intended to offset the costs of chemical dependency treatment and chemical dependency-related motor vehicle prevention, education, and advocacy programs. The bill would allow the courts to impose an additional fine of up to $100 for certain driving offenses to fund such programs.   Official Text and Analysis.
