2007 Senate Bill 5398: Licensing specialty hospitals.

To require new specialty hospitals to provide significant inpatient care, appropriate levels of Medicare and Medicaid services, the same percentage of charity care as local general hospitals, 24-hour emergency services, and other services. This does not apply to a specialty hospital that provides only psychiatric, pediatric, long-term acute care, or rehabilitative services. See companion HB 1378.   Official Text and Analysis.
