2007 House Bill 2230: Regarding early intervention services for children three years old.

To allow certain children to continue receiving early intervention special education. Currently, eligible children with disabilities can receive early intervention special education from birth to 3 years old. This bill would allow those children to continue receiving such services until the child is enrolled and receiveing special education through the public school.   Official Text and Analysis.

To remove language declaring that children currently enrolled in ITEIP will remain eligible for ITEIP services until enrolled in a special education program, and directs the DSHS and the OSPI to develop a process and policy to prevent gaps in service when eligible children transition from ITEIP to special education programs.
