2007 House Bill 2112: Clarifying the definition of social worker.

To ensure that the title of "social worker" is defined clearly for mental health consumers and the clients of public and private agencies. The new definition would include a person who has a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in social work from an accredited institution. The definition would also include a person licensed by the state as an advanced social worker or an independent clinical social worker. See companion SB 5950.   Official Text and Analysis.
