2007 House Bill 1719: Changing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine provisions.

To increase the penalties for possessing certain amounts of ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine. Possession of 30 grams or more of either of these products, their salts, or their isomers, would be upgraded to a class C felony. Attempting to purchase pseudoephedrine with a false identification would also be a class C felony. Class C felonies are punishable by up to 5 years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.   Official Text and Analysis.
