2007 House Bill 1685: Concerning the final disposition of deer or elk that damage crops, domestic animals, or fowl.

To amend and clarify the law to allow land owners to trap or kill deer and elk. The bill permits landowners to trap or kill deer and elk on their property and exempts owners from the requirement to notify state authorities. The bill also allows owners the option of keeping the trapped or killed animal for personal use. However, any deer or elk not intended for personal use must be surrendered to the state authorities.   Official Text and Analysis.
