2007 House Bill 1454: Changing tuition waivers for families of fallen veterans and national guard members.

To further clarify college tuition waiver eligibility for children or spouses of military personnel who were disabled, held prisoner of war, or killed during combat. Children must live in the state of Washington and be between the ages of 17 and 26 to be eligible. Spouses must live in the state of Washington and must apply for the benefit within ten years of the disability, imprisonment, or death of the military spouse. Recipient’s continued participation would be subject to the school's satisfactory progress policy. See companion SB 5002.   Official Text and Analysis.
