2007 House Bill 1452: Creating associate faculty positions for part-time faculty at community and technical colleges.

To create a new senior faculty position for nontenured, part-time professors at each community and technical college. The new position will be called “Associate Faculty.” Associate Faculty would be entitled to rights regarding, seniority, salary, contract renewals, and work-load. Other rights would also be granted. Nontenured part-time professors would be eligible to become associate faculty after teaching for nine quarters. See companion SB 5019.   Official Text and Analysis.
