2007 House Bill 1415: Establishing activities to support the certificate of need program.

To create the “Office of Strategic Health Resource Coordination” within the Office of the Governor. The new office would serve as the coordinating body for public and private efforts to improve quality in health-care, promote cost-effectiveness, and plan health facility and health service availability. The bill would also create a “Health Resource Strategic Commission” consisting of 17 members from the health care profession appointed by the Governor. The commission would be charged with developing strategies, goals, and policies related to health care availability, quality, and cost.   Official Text and Analysis.
