2007 House Bill 1057: Requesting information on the use of alternative fuels.

To request certain information from state agencies that own and operate gas stations. The bill would require the agencies to inform the Legislature at which gas stations would it be practical to offer alternative fuels to the public and to other state agencies. They would also need to report the necessary renovation plans and projected costs of providing alternative fuels. The agencies would have to submit their report to the Legislature by December 31, 2008.   Official Text and Analysis.

Requiring the Energy Policy Division of DCTED to coordinate a report to the Legislature by December 31, 2009, that: (1) provides refueling site information from state agencies as required by the Act; and (2) provides a progress report by the Department of General Administration on their efforts to develop biofuel fueling stations. Also to specify that alternative fuels to be included as part of state agency refueling plans must emit lesser amounts of greenhouse gases than conventional fuels.
