2006 Senate Bill 6744: Granting scholarships to graduated students meeting requirements

To grant scholarships to students attaining a high school diploma, a home-schooling program, or a GED who meet eligibility requirements. The academic eligibility requirements include passing the WASL with an average of a 3.5 GPA for ninth and tenth grades. Financial requirements include not exceeding 100% of the state median income adjusted for family size. Students may reapply for the second year if they don’t meet this requirement. This program is designed to be self-sustaining.   Official Text and Analysis.
