2005 Senate Bill 5533: Pertaining to financial institution employers

To regulate information provided to and by financial institution employers. An employer who discloses information about a former or current employee's job performance to a prospective financial institution employer, at the request of that individual employer, is immune from civil liability for such a disclosure or its consequences. The prior employer may incur civil liability if the information disclosed by the employer was knowingly false or deliberately misleading. See companion HB 1544.   Official Text and Analysis.
