2005 Senate Bill 5043: Regarding noise ordinances

To declare that local governments have primary responsibility for the enforcement of state noise ordinances. This bill also increases the penalty maximum from one hundred dollars to three hundred dollars.   Official Text and Analysis.

To require that, by January 1, 2007, the department of health will provide to the appropriate committees of the senate and the house of representatives an assessment of the health effects of bass sound harmonics and recommendations for reducing the effects. Appropriates the sum of sixty thousand dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006, from the general fund to the department of health.
