2005 House Bill 1164: Requiring the opportunity for a referendum for critical areas regulations

To require the opportunity for a referendum for critical areas regulations. Critical area development regulation will be subject to referendum for forty-five days after passage. Upon the filing of a timely and sufficient referendum petition with the legislative body of the county or city that adopted the development regulation, signed by registered voters in number equal to not less than fifteen percent of the votes cast in the last general state election in the county or city, the question of adoption of the critical area development regulation will be submitted to the voters of the area in a general election or a special election.
