2007 Senate Bill 5129: Creating the crime of unlawfully hunting upon the property of another.

To create a new crime of “Hunting on the Property of Another.” A person guilty of this crime must knowingly enter someone else’s property for hunting purposes. Violators would be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail or a fine no more than $1,000, or both. See companion HB 1078.   Official Text and Analysis.

To authorize fish and wildlife officers to seize wildlife, fish, and shellfish that a fish and wildlife officer has probable cause to believe was taken, transported, or possessed while committing the crime of criminal trespass in the second degree. All other provisions of the original bill are removed.
